Cure our Kids Carnival - Sunday 22 July 2012

It may seem a long way off but I thought it a good time to let everyone know about the Cure Our Kids Carnival.  Last year Comets had 5 teams participate and I would expect that to still be the case this year.  

If you cannot fill a full team, we can meld two teams together or ask friends to come and play for the day.  It’s all about fun and helping kids with cancer.  It’s also a great opportunity to fine tune some skills and learn new positions.

I would like you to mark the date in your diaries and let your Manager know if you can/cannot participate so that we can coordinate extras if needed.

We will also need to provide umpires and in the past, our older girls have used this carnival to build on their skill base too.  We add a small amount to the cost to pay the umpires for their time.

PROPOSED 2012 CARNIVAL for Cure Our Kids Carnival is Sunday 22nd July

Venue: Meadowbank Park – Adelaide Street West Ryde

Cost: $50 team

Time: 9am start approx. 3.30pm finish.

Registration form will be available closer to the date and we will post it on our website once we have a copy.  Please note that registrations close Wednesday 18 July 2012.

Medals are presented to winning teams in each division.

ALSO ALL TEAMS RECEIVE A TEAM PACK – Match Netball; wristband for each player; headband for each player; participation certificate for each player.

Please put Sunday 22 July in your diary now and let’s continue our tradition of helping other children have a more fulfilled life.
