Hi Everyone,
The registration for Spring Night comp is now open, however please chat to your team / friends before you register and make sure you have at least 7 players willing to register! Initial registration will close on the 14th Sept and we must have 7 in a team to get the team registered. We can do late registrations after this date as long as we have the teams locked in.
This is a fun social comp and friends from other clubs or school are all welcome to play with Comets. Teams generally do not train and each team must have a Manager.
If you have a group of friends wanting to play together let me know so I make sure you are all placed in the same team.
If you have played day comp in 2026 for ERNA or another association then you won’t need to pay the insurance again however new players will need to pay NNSW insurance. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Registration Information
Spring Competition
- The season will run on Tuesday evenings at Bennelong Sports Centre over 2 or 3 timeslots (depending on the number of teams registered).
- Teams will play at the same time each week.
- The season will begin on Tuesday 13 October 2026 and finish on Tuesday 8 or 15th December 2026 with no matches played during the School Holidays (1 and 8 October).
- Winners and runners up will be confirmed after the rounds, there will be no finals series.
- The Umpiring System will be umpire your own
- We will be introducing e-scoring.
- No club uniform is required but if teams wish to wear uniforms this is easy with the position bibs otherwise same colour shirts are required and training bibs

MIXED: Players wishing to play in a Mixed Grade must be 16 years of age and over in the year of play.
Specific Rules for Mixed Teams
- Up to three (3) males per team may be on the court at any one time. Up to five (5) females per mixed team may be on the court at any one time. Both sexes must be represented in a mixed team at all times. A maximum of one (1) male per team may play in each goal circle and midcourt.
- Female players may play Senior/Junior and Mixed comp subject to them meeting age requirements. Female players registered in a Mixed team must also register in a Senior/Junior team if wishing to play in both.
