Finals Wrap

Of our 5 Semi Finalist Teams, two have moved directly to the Grand Finals.  Congratulations to our 12/1’s and 13/2’s and their coaches, Michael, Nicole and Judith. 

Unfortunately, our 12/2’s were defeated and so don’t progress to Finals on Saturday.   I saw this team shine brilliantly in the previous contest against NRRSL and they deserved a better result.  I also saw a number of these girls trial for Reps a few weeks ago and although you didn’t make it through, you didn’t give up and gave it your best shot.  Hi five young ladies … your valiant efforts are not unnoticed by me and I hope that you are proud of the great game that you played last Saturday and every other Saturday.  I certainly am and so are your parents.  You girls did GOOOOOOD!

While our Cadet 6’s and D Grade were also defeated, they will play this Saturday:

12 noon  Cadets vs Dundas United 12 

2pm  D Grade vs St Gerards 4.

There is no reason why you can’t win this Saturday (I hope I sound convincing!).  Nike!  Just Do It!

If you have some free time and can be at Meadowbank Park to support our teams this Saturday they would LOVE to hear you cheer for them.   

Thank you to everyone who texted me scores for each of our Semi Final games.  Probably not worth bothering this week because my phone won’t work in Vanuatu … but I can log onto our website!  Simon … I know I can count on you to post the Cadets score.  Can you add a line at the bottom with the D Grade score too please (big cheesy grin)?
