Last game for the season - 8s

This week the 8’s played Carlingford Flames in a very close match.   

The first quarter was very even with only one goal being scored.  Everyone had to work really hard today to get the ball down to the goal circle as the Flames defence was everywhere.  Caillin, Sarina and Nikta were all really strong in defence today with lots of intercepts and some fabulous passes.  Eliza and April also did some great passes and were zipping all around the court.  Sanya and Romie had good games and moved well around the court. 

We scored 3 goals today with Eliza scoring 2 (one in Q1 and Q2) and Nikta scoring 1 (Q4).   Well done girls. 

I would like to say a big thank you to Lucy and Libby for your wonderful coaching throughout the season.  You have both done a fantastic job in teaching the girls netball skills and coaching them to an undefeated first season! 

As this was our last game for the season I hope you have all had fun playing netball.  It has been lovely to watch how much you have all improved over the season and hopefully you will all return next year to play again.   Hope to see you all at Presentation Day on Saturday, 15 September (2pm at Murray Farm Public School).
