On a very frosty morning at Brush Farm the 10/1’s played their final
game for the season against Villa. Once again the girls started really well,
winning the 1stQ 2/1 and then the 2ndQ 5/2, giving us a half time lead of 7/3.
(Skye scored 3 goals and Tanisha 4!)
Unfortunately Villa stepped up the pace in the next 2 Quarters and the Comets
lost momentum and allowed Villa too much possession. It was a close game in
the end with Villa winning 12/11. Tanisha scored 2 more goals and Elicia 2!
Well done to the team for their never give up attitude this season and for
always ending the game with their Club Cheer and lots of smiling faces.
Pam and I have loved being a part of the team and seeing all the girls improve
their netball skills and fitness over the season.
Kathryn was chosen as MVP this week for her hard work in GK and GD
and Genevieve received our last McDonalds team award for a great game
in GK and WD. Happy 10th birthday Mandy for today!!!!
Thanks to Sharon Ross for scoring and our cheer squad of proud parents!
Please keep Saturday 15th September at 2 pm free for our Presentation Day
at Murray Farm Public School.
