Cure our Kids Carnival – 8/9’s

What an awesome experience today for our 8/9 team – Abbey, Alicia, Caillin, Eliza, Jaz, Marie, Mikayla, Nikta, Rebecca, Sanya and Sarina. 

With a wonderful team spirit and effortless combination of girls from different teams, they rose to the challenge of playing against extremely fast and technically impressive teams really well in addition to adapting to weather conditions more suited to ducks.

I imagine all the girls are enjoying a well earned early night to bed and as Alicia and Bec just reminded me, they like knowing the highlight for today was raising money for such a great cause as well as playing good, honest netball without any of the aggression shown by some of their opponents.

Both teams will get a rematch next Saturday with the 8’s playing Rovers and the 9’s playing Bluebells so that is very exciting.

Well done girls, we love to watch the magic!!!
