Week 11 - 8s

Today we played the Eastwood Eagles.  Well done to the 8s for another great game.  11 goals today – wow. 

Romie, Caillin and Eliza all did some great passes and moved well around the court.  Nikta, Sarina and April worked hard in defence and got some good intercepts.  Cassidy and Sanya both zipped around the court and did some great passes.   We had lots of attempts at goals today, scoring 11 which was fantastic.  Romie scored 1, Sanya 2, Cassidy 3 and Eliza 5.  Well done everyone.  The passes down the court are working nicely and everyone is really sticking with their opposing players.     

Our McDonald’s Award this week went to Cassidy for a great all round game and for shooting 3 fantastic goals.   Well done Cassidy. 

Next week we play Santa Sabina on Court 14 and Cassidy will be our Captain.  This will be Cassidy’s last game with us before she heads off to New Zealand.  We will miss you Cassidy and hope you have had fun playing with the Comets.

Just a further reminder that next weekend (21 July) is our rostered duties at Brush Farm from 8.45am – 10am.  Thank you to Hugh and Salil for volunteering to help with the Canteen and Table Duty.   See you at training on Thursday.
