Week 8 - 8s

Today the Comets played Epping YMCA.

Our defence today was excellent. Nikta, Cassidy and Eliza were all outstanding in getting intercepts and sticking with their opponents.   Romie and Caillin were fantastic getting the passes moving down the court and were also strong in defence.  Sanya, April and Sarina all moved well around the court and did some great passes.  We need to work on not falling on the ball for our next game. 

We scored a total of 5 goals today with Nikta scoring 4 and Eliza one.  Well done girls. 

Our McDonald’s Award this week went to Nikta for an excellent game today with some superb defensive work and for scoring 4 fabulous goals.  Well done Nikta. 

Our next game will be against the North Epping Rangers on 16 June (no game next Saturday because of the long weekend) on Court 12.  Our Captain will be Sarina so if she would like to bring some fruit or a treat for after the game that would be great.  See you at training on Thursday.
