Week 7 - 8s

posted May 25, 2012 by Lisa Lane - viewed 343 times

Today the Comets played North Ryde RSL in an entertaining game.

The strong wind made passing the ball a little challenging today, but everyone tried really hard.  Nikta, Romie and Caillin all did really well zipping around the court to find an open space and all did some great passes.  Eliza, Sarina and Cassidy did some good defensive work and got lots of intercepts.  April and Sanya both did some great passes and moved well around the court.

We scored a total of 6 goals today which was fantastic -  Nikta 3, Romie 2 and Sarina with one.  Well done girls.

Our McDonald’s Award this week went to Caillin for an excellent game today with some really good passing and defensive work.  Well done Caillin.

Thank you to Libby and Lucy for coaching and to Katherine for umpiring for us today.

Next week we play Epping YMCA on Court 16.  Our Captain will be April so if she would like to bring some fruit or a treat for after the game that would be great.  See you at training on Thursday.
