ERNA DISTRICT CARNIVAL - 22 May

posted May 21, 2012 by Debbie Frankenberg - viewed 376 times

We have a number of people representing us at ERNA's District Carnival on Sunday 22 May.

Our girls - Abigail, Jemma, Molly, Christy, Sandy and our coaches - Giulia, Michael and me, will be there representing our club in ERNA colours.  I know that Josh will be umpiring and I hope that Lia, Rachel and others will be joining him.  For a small club, we have a good representation.  Great work everyone!

While my team has won their Division for the past 2 years at ERNA, I think that Michael's 13 Dev team (with Sandy and Christy) may well steal the limelight this year.  They've had a great year so far.  Giulia will be with one of the 11 Dev Teams and they will do well under her guidance.

You are welcome to come down to Meadowbank Park and see some great netball.  Put on your walking shoes because teams come from Newcastle, Orange, Shoalhaven and beyond and parking is difficult.

Many little girls want to play for Australia and wearing an ERNA uniform is part of the pathway toward that.  Since this is my last year as a Rep Coach for a while, I am happy for some of our younger Comets to come and ask questions of my team.  11/3's already know Georgia and can see her in action and cheer her on.

I've been involved with many of this team since they were 11 and these girls absolutely LOVE their netball ... just like so many of our girls.

So ... let's do a little dream building and have lots of our younger Comets in royal blue, gold and silver ... or whatever colour you happen to be wearing on the day.

Hope to see lots of you on Sunday.
