Week 4 - 9 Wallabies -v- North Epping Rangers

posted May 5, 2012 by Colette Grundy - viewed 377 times

This gorgeous team of girls truly personified the club motto TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves Magic) this week and provided exciting entertainment for all of us watching.

Those huge Luna Park size smiles when our goals are scored shows just how special each of them feels in creating some great plays while moving the ball down court to our shooters.

Despite some confusion for the girls when they swap positions, once again every player gave 100% effort for the whole game.

Of special note were Mikayla, Kimberley and Bec providing a very strong defence;  Abbey and Alicia making some fantastic intercepts;  Marie, Carla and Jaz shooting some beautiful goals.

All girls get 10/10 for focusing on our main objective which was to create space while breaking for the ball and counting to 5 before throwing some very accurate passes.

Congratulations to Mikayla as our player of the week for her all round outstanding performance.
