8s - Week 4

This week our mini Comets played the Carlingford Flames and had another fun game.

It was nice to have April back from her holidays to have her first game. 

During the game we saw lots of strong passes down the court to our goal end with our shooters having many attempts at goals. Between them Caillin, Eliza and Sanya scored our 7 goals today - a super effort for our second game. Nikta, Sarina and Cassidy did some great intercepts and passes. Romie and April did some fantastic passes and had lots of good attempts at goals.  It was great to see everyone trying so hard to move to open spaces and also to see how you are all learning the court positions.

Our McDonald’s Award this week went to Sanya for moving really well into spaces and scoring 3 fantastic goals. Well done Sanya. 

A big thank you to Katherine for umpiring for us today and for being very patient and helping to teach the girls throughout the game.  

Next week we play Ryde RSL Robbins on Court 11. Our Captain will be Romie so if she would like to bring some fruit or a treat for after the game that would be great. See you at training on Thursday.
