9 Wallabies - fabulous first game !!

How exciting to finally see the 9's play their long awaited first game together.
So much enthusiasm from all the girls found:
-   Jaz, Carla and Alicia breaking forward and creating lots of space
-   Rebecca and Mikayla using very sure hands to catch passes
-   Abbey, Marie and Kimberley performing some beautiful intercepts
All these great plays combined to produce a marvellous team effort and some lovely down the court plays from one end to the other with many attempts at scoring.

A very close result girls and big congratulations to you all for giving your best for the whole game and graciously playing whatever position Elaine asked of you. 
An outstanding effort by the whole team with lots of fun and new skills learned.

An all round wonderful performance from Abbey (including our 1 goal) saw her earn our first McDonalds award for player of the week.
