Week 1 - 12/4's

What a wonderful start to our season, a bright sunny day! The 12/4's made a great start to the season, winning the first quarter, with some fantastic goals by Alina and Amy - our MVP of the week. Abbey has joined our team, and made a big impression as centre for most of the game. OLMC came back in the second quarter, and by half time it was neck and neck. Varsha and Tharini were all over the court finding lots of open space, and Trisha (another new and welcome addition to our team this year) and Melissa were fighting hard in defence, getting lots of intercepts. But the warm weather and the first game of the year, meant our girls tired a bit in the second half of the game, and the final score was 14-8 to OLMC. A great game girls - so much improvement since last season. Keep up the good work!
