Competition Update

Hi everyone

We believe that netball competition will start for everyone on Saturday 18 July. That’s great news for all our members and an indication that life is returning to the new normal! There will be updates from ERNA shortly that will outline how the season will be conducted. We will pass that on as it arrives.

There will be additional safety precautions this year and Comets have already invested in hand sanitiser and ball wipes for training sessions and games for all teams.

What if I don’t want to play this year?

We know that some players may not want to play this year and that’s OK. We hope to see you back in 2021. To withdraw, please email Susan your bank details using secretary@cometsnetball.com.auBEFORE midnight Sunday 14 June so that we can begin the necessary withdrawl process required by ERNA.

We cannot refund 100% of your fees but we guarantee that you will get 100% of your Comets and ERNA fees back if you withdraw before Sunday. Netball NSW has not indicated that it will refund the component that you must pay to them and we have no input or influence over Netball NSW.

 

What if I have some questions?

You can contact our President, Judith via email or the Contact Us page. I will be joining your team What’s App group because I have more free time than Judith this week.

Please be mindful that your Comets Committee all have full time jobs and we juggle our contributions to this club around our real lives. We may not be able to get back to you ask quickly as you would like and your patience is greatly appreciated.

 

We know that information is sparse, but as competition information comes to us, we will let you know.

 

Looking forward to seeing all of you from next week . Yes … training session will begin next week. YAY!!! Get excited!
