Umpiring Update

What a great day for Comets umpires!

We started the day with our newest umpires taking the court for the first time. I have heard great reports about their umpiring, and the progress they have already made. Great work Tara, Imogen, Xavier, Maggie, Margret and Billie!  

Thanks to our wonderful mentors (Claudia, Eliza A, Elen, Alex and Janine) and to Simon for mentoring them.

Later in the day, Eliza M was awarded her National C badge! Eliza started her umpiring journey only last year, but has developed her skills and confidence very quickly. Congratulations Eliza!! Keep up the good work.

And in the last timeslot, Claudia was awarded her National B Badge. This is a huge acheivement, and takes a lot of work and commitment. Claudia has been very diligently putting all the advice from her mentors into practice. And today her efforts have been rewarded. Fantastic work Claudia!! 

And week by week, all of our umpires are giving their best, improving their skills, and umpiring their games with enthusiam and confidence. Well done to you all!!
